Context
Black Mamba was born as a personalized training gym, but its visual identity, name, and commercial strategy did not align with its value proposition. The name "Black Mamba," combined with an aesthetic strongly linked to basketball (evoking Kobe Bryant), caused confusion among the target audience regarding the actual service offered.
Beyond the branding issues, when they approached Sneety, the business faced structural challenges that were directly impacting growth.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to reposition Black Mamba as a premium personalized training gym, generate content, and create an active community. This implied defining the business model, reaching a break-even point between revenue and expenses, and establishing pricing consistent with the premium service offered in order to build loyalty and consolidate the community.
The Solutions
Sneety approached the project in four integrated stages:
1. Strategic Rebranding: We decided to keep the name "Black Mamba" but redefined its meaning, shifting it toward an identity of strength, focus, and discipline—concepts more associated with the premium personalized training they offer. We developed a new logo, color palette, modern typography, verbal identity, and aligned storytelling.
2. Brand Development & Communication: We defined a professional, approachable, and motivational communication tone across all visual assets: signage, social media, merchandise, and uniforms.
3. Digitalization & Management: We implemented an online booking platform with controls for schedules, shifts, waitlists, and class capacity. Alongside this, we created a database with detailed client profiling. We also automated billing, payments, and class reminders.
4. Business Model Optimization:
We reviewed the pricing model, establishing rates based on plan frequency and benefits.
We defined fixed and variable costs, profit margins, and the break-even point.
We designed a commercial plan with monthly revenue and retention goals.
We launched monthly campaigns with exclusive benefits for recurring members.
